Carlo Vanchieri is a contemporary abstract-conceptual artist based in Palermo, Sicily, with over fifty years of experience. He paints primarily in oil and acrylic, developing a unique technique that incorporates tissue paper into his canvases, forming richly textured, layered compositions that appear as pure oil yet carry a distinctive depth and complexity. Carlo’s signature style is characterised by vibrant colours, rhythmic movements, and a sense of boundless expansion.
