Sara Twomey
I look for three dimensions within the two-dimensional. When I paint, the shape and structure evolve, as though the feeling is encoded within the layers on the canvas. I am guided by new expressions that are revealed by how each painting interacts with the light, causing structure to appear and disappear, and revealing patterns and symbols, which allow me to find the hidden beauty within.
