About Emma Coyle
Emma Coyle is an Irish artist working predominantly in large-scale paintings on canvas, prints, and in photography using Polaroid and 120mm camera formats. She is based in London.
Emma has exhibited in numerous acclaimed galleries in Ireland, the UK, and internationally. Her current figurative work uses imagery from contemporary fashion magazines and advertisements to produce fine art quality painterly images by combining primary and secondary line work with ideas in abstraction, minimalism and use of negative space.
Emma’s artwork has appeared in and on the cover of over fifty publications. Coyle recently finished her largest painting to date. Combining eight images on a continuous 10-meter/33-feet canvas roll.
Her first book of paintings, Pop Now, was recently released by Snap Collective in Paris.

The Phoenix International Prize from Italy’s Effetto Arte Foundation.
In 2022, her Painting Sw16.1 received a Finalist Award from Art Show International and her new work won awards, including Florida’s Light Space Time gallery.
In 2021 painting Linda no.1 won a Finalist Award from Art Show International and a Distinguished Award from Canada’s ArtAscent Magazine.
In 2019, her painting 12.16.07 won Artist of the Year and her painting series ‘12.16’ also won her a Special Artist Award from London’s BESTART.
